The Hound of the Baskervilles

When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate, with a look of terror still etched on his face, and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned from Baker Street, with Dr Watson in tow, to unravel the mysteries surrounding his death, and investigate the ancient curse of the Hound of the Baskervilles…

Returning to the Marlowe Studio after the phenomenal success of the laugh-out-loud production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), The Canterbury Players are pleased to present the notorious Sherlock Holmes as he confronts a wonderfully barking makeover of his most famous case – you will have never seen the like before!

The jokes are quick, the costume changes quicker, and the wheeled fireplace just got flashed by a speed camera!

A cast of just 3 people (and a long suffering stage hand) play all the characters in this fast paced, action packed, side splitting comedy.  You would be barking mad to miss out!

Based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by Steven Canny and John Nicholson for Peepolykus.
